ย้อนเวลาโรลเพลย์เป็น “กวิ-ปีแสง” ผ่านความทรงจำของ “ฟลุ๊ค-คริส”
บทสัมภาษณ์กึ่งเรื่องสั้น สวมคาแร็คเตอร์โดย: ฟลุ๊ค-กวิน แคสกี้ และ คริส-พีรวัส แสงโพธิรัตน์
‘สุดยอด ขอบคุณมาก กวิ รับรองดัง ดังแน่’ เราไม่รู้ว่า พวกเขาคุยอะไรกับรุ่นพี่ เหมือนน่าจะตกลงหรือนัดแนะอะไรกันบางอย่าง แต่เราในฐานะคนทำวารสารคณะมนุษย์ฯ ที่ได้ทำคอลัมน์ ‘คู่เพื่อนซี้’ เรานัดพวกเขาไว้ที่นี่ เพื่อคุยถึงมุมมอง ความคิด และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพวกเขาทั้งสองคนกับ ‘บทกวี’ และ ‘ปีแสง’ เพื่อนร่วมคณะมนุษยศาสตร์ด้วยกัน
หลังจากที่พวกเขาคุยกับรุ่นพี่เสร็จ เราแนะนำตัวว่า ที่ติดต่อมาจากวารสารของคณะ ทั้งคู่ตอบรับด้วยเสียงสดใส เราถามว่า ได้อ่านคำถามที่ส่งให้แล้วหรือยัง ผู้ชายที่ใช้ถุงผ้าบอกว่า อ่านแล้วแต่ไม่แน่ใจว่าทางเราจะได้คำตอบแบบที่อยากได้ไหม ซึ่งผู้ชายหน้าลูกครึ่งที่นั่งติดกันบอกว่า ไม่เป็นไร เดี๋ยวเขาเสริมจากเพื่อนให้เอง ทางเราได้แต่พยักหน้ารับ เพราะคำตอบของทั้งคู่เหมือนบอกเป็นนัยว่า พวกเขาพร้อมแล้ว ซึ่งเราว่าคอลัมน์ ‘คู่เพื่อนซี้’ ครั้งนี้น่าจะมีคนอยากอ่านเรื่องราวของทั้ง 2 คนแน่นอน
เพื่อนมองเพื่อน
ถ้าให้ไปถามคนในคณะมนุษย์ฯ ด้วยกัน คิดว่าเขาจะมองเพื่อนคู่นี้เป็นอย่างไร ปีแสงนึกคิดครู่หนึ่ง และตอบกลับมาอย่างผ่อนคลายว่า “เขาคงมองว่า พวกเราแปลกมั้งครับ ดูทะเลาะและตีกันตลอดเวลา ไม่ลงรอยกัน ผมอาจดูชัดเจนและมั่นใจเวลาทำอะไร แต่กวิเขาอาจดูไม่ค่อยอยากสุงสิงกับใคร ผมเลยมองว่ามันเคมีที่แปลก แต่สุดท้ายมันก็ลงตัวในแบบของมัน เพราะผมคุยหรืออยู่กับเขาแล้วรู้สึกสบายใจ”
กวิพยักหน้าเล็กน้อยและพูดคำตอบ “จริงอย่างที่ปีแสงว่าครับ หลายคนมองว่าผมเป็นคนลึกลับ โลกส่วนตัวสูง เข้าถึงยาก ไม่น่าอยู่ใกล้ด้วย ถ้าอยู่ใกล้อาจรู้สึกไม่สนุก มีแต่ความจืดชืด เพื่อนผมบางคนถึงขั้นบอกว่า แกน่าเบื่อได้เสมอต้นเสมอปลายจริงๆ แต่ก็มีปีแสงนี่แหละครับที่น่าจะเข้าใจในตัวผมว่า ผมเป็นคนอย่างไร ผมต้องการอะไร เหมือนเขาอ่านใจผมออกได้กลายๆ เหมือนกัน”
เราแอบไปถามแพรไหม เพื่อนสนิทกวิว่า กวิชอบอ่าน ‘ท้องฟ้าขลิบทอง’ มากๆ แล้วคิดว่า ถ้าให้เปรียบเพื่อนอีกฝั่งเป็นหนังสือสักเล่ม คิดว่าปีแสงจะเหมือนหนังสืออะไร “ปรัชญาครับ” เราได้แต่สงสัยว่า ทำไมกวิถึงตอบเร็วขนาดนี้ และเหตุผลที่เขาเลือกหนังสือปรัชญาให้ปีแสง
“ผมว่าปีแสงเป็นคนใจเย็น สุขุม ชัดเจนในความรู้สึก มีบางคำพูดของเขาที่ทำให้ผมรู้สึกสะกิดใจและฉุกคิดได้เหมือนกันว่า เราควรมองเรื่องบางเรื่องในมุมนี้ อย่างเรื่องพ่อ เขาก็กระตุกเตือนผม ซึ่งเขาค่อยๆ เปลี่ยนมุมมองผมบางอย่าง แต่กลับบางครั้งผมก็แอบไม่เข้าใจเขาในบางมุมเหมือนกัน มันเลยมีความเข้าใจง่ายปนยากผสมอยู่ในตัวเขา ผมเลยคิดว่าปีแสงเหมือนหนังสือแนวนี้”
“ผมเพิ่งรู้เลยว่า เขามองผมเป็นหนังสือปรัชญา” ปีแสงแตะไหล่เพื่อนสนิทก่อนพูดย้อนคำถามเรา “ถ้าเป็นกวิ ผมว่าเขาเหมือนสารคดีสักเล่ม เพราะเขาอยู่กับปัจจุบัน เรียนรู้ตัวเองผ่านการตัดสินใจและการกระทำของเขาทั้งหมด เขารู้ว่าทำแบบนี้ออกไป มันจะมีผลอะไรตามมาตามความจริงที่ปรากฏ ทุกอย่างเลยยืนอยู่บนพื้นของเหตุและผล ผมเลยคิดว่า สารคดีน่าจะอธิบายความเป็นเพื่อนคนนี้ได้ดีที่สุด”
เราเสนอความคิดเห็นตัวเอง เพราะนึกว่าคำตอบของปีแสงจะบอกว่า กวิเป็นนิยายแฟนตาซี คือเหนือจินตนาการและยากเกินคาดเดา ปีแสงหลุดขำออกมานิดหน่อย ส่วนกวิได้แต่ยิ้มอายๆ และก้มหน้ามองโต๊ะนิดๆ ซึ่งก็ไม่แน่ใจว่า เราไปล่วงรู้อะไรบางอย่างของพวกเขาหรือเปล่า
เพื่อนคอมเมนต์เพื่อน
เป็นคู่เพื่อนที่รู้ใจกันแบบนี้ เราเลยถามถึงสิ่งที่ชอบและไม่ชอบในตัวของกันและกัน ปีแสงทำท่ามั่นใจและขอตอบคำถามก่อน “เอาเรื่องที่ไม่ชอบก่อน ผมว่าเขาไม่ใช่นักแก้ปัญหาที่ดีเท่าไหร่ บางเรื่องไม่ใช่เรื่องใหญ่อะไรเลย แต่คิดนั่นคิดนี่ฟุ้งไปหมด จนแก้ปัญหาอะไรไม่ได้ จนบางครั้งผมอาจต้องยื่นมือเข้าไปช่วยเหลือ” กวิทำหน้านิ่วเหมือนสงสัยว่า ตัวเองแบบนั้นจริงเหรอ ปีแสงเลยขยายความต่อจากสิ่งที่พูดว่า “แต่พูดว่าไม่ชอบก็คงไม่เชิง เพราะความเด็กและไร้เดียงสาของเขานี่แหละ ทำให้ผมชอบในตัวเขาและกลายเป็นเสน่ห์ไป สำหรับผมที่ชอบการดูแลคนอื่น การที่เขาเป็นแบบนี้ มันยิ่งทำให้ผมอยากเข้าไปดูแลเขาให้ดีมากยิ่งขึ้น”
อบอุ่นประหนึ่งไมโครเวฟบอย และเหมือนเพื่อนด้านข้างก็ยิ้มพอใจในคำตอบ จนตอบความรู้สึกของตัวเองถึงเพื่อนอีกคนออกมา “ผมอาจย้อนแย้งในตัวนิดนึงนะครับ” กวิออกตัวจนเราอยากรู้ถึงความรู้สึกที่มีต่อเพื่อนคนนี้ “เขาบอกว่าชอบดูแลคนอื่น ส่วนตัวผมก็ชอบ แต่บางครั้งผมก็ไม่ชอบที่เขามาอยู่ใกล้และวุ่นวายเกินไป อย่างวันนี้เขาก็พามาเจอรุ่นพี่นักดนตรี เรารู้ในความปรารถนาดีของเขา แต่ผมเป็นนักกังวล กังวลว่า มันจะดีจริงไหม คนอื่นจะมองยังไง ผมอาจมีคำถามในตัวเยอะมาก เพราะมันเปลี่ยนเซฟโซนที่ผมเคยอยู่ แต่ผมก็ต้องขอบคุณเขาที่ทำให้ผมได้ลองอะไรใหม่ๆ ที่ไม่เคยลอง”
นิยามความรักของเพื่อน
“ถ้าตอบเรื่องนี้ หลายคนอาจมองผมดูเอาแต่ใจไปเลย” คำตอบเกริ่นนำของกวิเมื่อพูดถึงนิยามความรักที่เขามอง “เมื่อก่อนผมอาจมองว่า ความรักคือสิ่งที่ถูกใจเพียงหนึ่งเดียว คนนี้ยอมเป็นเพื่อนกับผม ผมก็จะรักคนนี้เพียงคนเดียว แต่ผมว่ามันแอบเหนื่อยไปหน่อย ความรักควรที่จะสบายใจและไม่ต้องเหนื่อยเพื่อรอเขารักคืน ซึ่งผมอาจจะดื้อเงียบก็ได้มั้งครับ”
ปีแสงพยักหน้านิดๆ เหมือนยืนยันในสิ่งที่กวิตอบ แล้วเสริมเรื่องความรักในมุมตัวเองเข้าไป “ถ้าผมเจอความรักที่ใช่ ผมจะยึดตรงนั้นไว้เลย และจะเต็มที่กับสิ่งที่ผมคิดว่าใช่ ไม่ว่าจะเกิดอะไรขึ้น ไม่ว่าจะมีปัญหารูปแบบไหน ไม่ว่าจะทะเลาะอะไร ผมก็จะพยายามทำทุกอย่างให้คลี่คลาย เพราะผมยอมทุกอย่างเพื่อคนที่ผมรัก แต่ผมไม่รู้ว่าอีกฝ่ายจะเห็นถึงความทุ่มเทของผมหรือเปล่า” เขายิ้มแล้วมองไปที่เพื่อนอีกคน เราเลยถามแทรกปีแสงว่า ปีแสงเท่ากับซื่อสัตย์และชัดเจนกับความรัก จะสรุปแบบนี้ได้ไหม เขาบอกด้วยเสียงนิ่งเรียบว่า “จะพูดอย่างนั้นก็ได้ครับ”
เมื่อเพื่อนมองการแสดง “ฟลุ๊ค-คริส”
เราแจ้งให้ทั้ง 2 คนทราบก่อนที่จะจบสัมภาษณ์ว่า มีคนนำเรื่องทั้ง 2 คนไปทำซีรีส์ด้วยชื่อ ‘บทกวีของปีแสง’ ทั้งคู่รับรู้ถึงการมีอยู่ของซีรีส์เรื่องนี้ แต่เราอยากรู้ความรู้สึกของ “กวิ” และ “ปีแสง” ว่าพวกเขารู้สึกอย่างไรกับ ‘ฟลุ๊ค’ และ ‘คริส’ ในฐานะนักแสดงที่ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวของตัวเอง
“ทุกอย่างที่เกิดขึ้นแล้ว ผมว่าผมพอใจนะ ซึ่งฟลุ๊คเองก็แสดงเป็นผมอย่างเต็มความสามารถของเขาแล้ว โดยที่ผมก็รู้ว่า ในใจลึกๆ ฟลุ๊คก็เป็นสายไฟท์เตอร์เหมือนกันกับผม ไม่อยากให้เขายอมแพ้ในสิ่งที่ทำครับ”
ปีแสงตอบด้วยน้ำเสียงฉะฉานถึงฟลุ๊ค แต่กวินั่งคิดอยู่นาน เมื่อจะพูดถึงนักแสดงที่ชื่อคริสที่เล่นเป็นเขา “ผมว่าเขาทำให้ชีวิตผมดูโตเกินไปและแก้ไขปัญหาได้ง่ายไปหน่อย เพราะตัวผมเองเอาจริงๆ แก้ไขอะไรไม่ได้เก่งขนาดนั้น เจออะไรปุ๊บ งอแงง้องแง้งแล้ว ผมว่าคริสเองเขาคงรู้ตัวแหละ ไม่ว่าจะตอนที่แสดงหรือกลับมาดูสิ่งที่แสดง เขาคงไม่เก็ตผมในหลายๆ อย่าง แต่ผมว่าเขาทำดีที่สุดแล้ว เลยอยากเป็นกำลังใจให้เขา เพราะผมเองก็ยังรู้ตัวเลยว่า ตัวผมมันซับซ้อนและเล่นยากแค่ไหน”
เรารบกวนเวลาเพียงเท่านี้ พวกเขาขอบคุณและเดินจากไป ซึ่งกวิมีไปซ้อมดนตรีกับรุ่นพี่ต่อ ส่วนอีกคนก็ไปดูแลเพื่อนที่ห้องซ้อมในฐานะ ‘เพื่อนรู้ใจ’ ซึ่งชีวิตเพื่อนคู่นี้จะเป็นอย่างไรต่อไป ไม่มีใครรู้ได้ แต่คุณผู้อ่านรู้ได้จากการติดตาม ‘บทกวีของปีแสง’ ออกอากาศทุกวันศุกร์ เวลา 20.30 น. ทางช่อง GMM25 และดูย้อนหลังได้ที่ VIU เวลา 22.30 น.

2. เวลาฟลุ๊คถ่ายรูป ฟลุ๊คจะใช้เวลาพอสมควรในการนั่งทบทวนและคิดแล้วคิดอีกกว่าจะโพสต์รูปพูดง่ายๆ คือ ไม่ได้เป็นคนที่ถ่ายรูปแล้วลงเลย
3. ชีวิตจริงของฟลุ๊คเป็นคนไม่เคยคีบตุ๊กตาในตู้สำเร็จเลยสักครั้ง ลิมิตมากสุดในการลองคีบคือ 4-5 รอบเท่านั้น หากไม่ได้ก็คือ เลิกคีบ
4. ตำแหน่งของฟลุ๊คในกีฬาบาสเกตบอลคือ Center และ Power Forward เพราะด้วยความเป็นคนชอบชู้ตและตัวสูงด้วย จึงได้เปรียบในการเล่นตำแหน่งนี้
4 TMIs with Krist
1. คำตอบของคริสจากคำถามว่า “อยากย้อนเวลาหรือไปอนาคต” เปลี่ยนไป ตั้งแต่ได้แสดงบทกวีของปีแสง เพราะจากเมื่อก่อนคริสมักจะเลือก “ย้อนเวลา” เพราะอยากกลับไปเปลี่ยนแปลงบางสิ่งบางอย่าง แต่วันนี้คริสเลือก “ไปอนาคต” เพราะอยากรู้ว่าจะเกิดอะไรขึ้น เพื่อที่เขาจะได้ทำวันนี้ให้ดีที่สุด
2. คริสยอมรับว่า ห่วยเรื่องการดูแลและวางแผนชีวิตตัวเอง เลยทำให้พ่อแม่เป็นห่วงเรื่องนี้บ่อยๆ รวมถึงห่วยที่มักจะลืมของตลอดเวลา จนได้รับฉายา “คริสวันละชิ้น” คือต้องลืมของอย่างน้อยวันละชิ้น
3. คริสรู้สึกว่า ดวงของตัวเองคือดวงให้คนอื่น เพราะเขาเคยให้โชคแฟนคลับมากกว่า 10 ครั้ง ตั้งแต่แสดง “โซตัส” มาจนถึง “บทกวีของปีแสง” ส่วนตัวเองนั้นไม่เคยมีโชคทางด้านนี้เลย
4. คริสเป็นคนชอบดูมายากล แต่ถ้าให้ตัวเองเล่น คิดว่าไม่น่าจะทำได้ดี เพราะไม่สามารถหลอกตาคนอื่นด้วยความเร็วได้ และประเมินตัวเองแล้วว่า จะลนแน่ๆ เวลาเล่นด้วย
Turn Back Time with “Kawi & Pisaeng”, through Memories of “Fluke & Krist”
A short-story interview with characters portrayed by Gawin Caskey and Perawat Sangpotirat
‘Excellent! Thank you so much, Kawi. Sure thing you gonna rock it! I’m certain!’. I wasn’t confident about what they are talking about with the seniors. It sounded like they were agreeing on or arranging something. As an editor responsible for the journal of the School of Humanity on the ‘Best Friend’ Column, I had made an appointment to meet both of them, ‘Botkawee’ and ‘Pisaeng’, my fellow classmates, here to talk about their perspectives, thoughts, and relationship.
After their conversation with the seniors ended, I introduced myself as an editor of the School’s journal and they responded with joy. I asked them if they had reviewed the questions in advance. The guy with his tote bag said he had read it, but he wasn’t sure if I would get the answers I expected. The half-Thai, half-American guy sitting next to him said it was alright, he would add on if needed. I nodded as their answers implied that they were ready for the interview. I could say that many readers would have been eager to read this interview for the ‘Best Friend’ Column.
Friend Sees Friend
If I were to ask your fellow classmates in the School of Humanity, what would they think of your couple? Pisaeng stopped shortly to contemplate before casually replying, “They probably thought that we’re weird. We always argue and quarrel. Rarely on good terms. I may be poise and confident with my actions. Kawi, on the other hand, seems isolated. It’s a strange chemistry that eventually works out in its own way. I’m comfortable when I chat or stay by his side.”
Kawi gave his little nod and answered, “Like what Pisaeng said, many may think I’m mysterious, private, reserved, unapproachable. Being close to me may be rather dull and bland. Some friends even said that my boringness is very consistent. Only Pisaeng understands how I am and what I want. It’s like he could read my mind.
I secretly learned from Praemai, Kawi’s close friend, that he loved to read ‘Khop Fah Khlip Thong (The Golden Horizon)’ very much. If you had to compare your friend with a book, what kind of book Pisaeng could be? “Philosophy”. His spontaneous reply made me wonder about the reason behind it.
“I see Pisaeng as calm, discreet, and definite about his feelings. Some of his words enlightened me and made me realize that it could become better if I see it from a different perspective. Like the matter of my father, he nudged me and shifted certain ways of my thinking. Still, there are sometimes that I don’t get his points. He could be a combination of simplicity and complexity. Thus, he is like that kind of book.”
“This is the first time I heard that he sees me as a philosophy book.” Pisaeng touched the shoulder of this best friend before repeating my question. “If I were to compare Kawi, I see him as non-fiction. Because he focuses on the present and learns a lesson from his own decision and actions. He reckons the consequences of his actions based on occurring facts. Everything stands on the ground of logic. Hence, I reckon that non-fiction can best describe this friend of mine.”
I voiced that I thought Pisaeng would compare Kawi to a fantasy novel: something beyond imagination and expectation. Pisaeng giggled a little, while Kawi shyly smiled and looked down at the table. I wasn’t sure if it was because I had pried into their secrets.
Friend Feedbacks Friend
As best friends who know each other well, I asked them about things they like and dislike about their partner. Pisaeng, who seemed confident, asked to answer first, “Let’s start with the dislike. I don’t think he is a good problem solver. Some matters aren’t a big deal, but he lets his imagination go wild and it doesn’t solve anything. Being so, I sometimes have to lend him a hand.” Kawi frowned as if he was pondering if he was like that. Pisaeng added on that “But I can’t really say I dislike it. It’s also because of his childishness and naivety that made me like him. It’s become his charm. For me who likes to take care of others, this side of his makes me want to take better care of him.”
Pisaeng’s answer made him sound as warm as toast, and it seemed to satisfy Kawi as he grinned and revealed his feeling toward his best friend, “I may sound a little bit paradoxical.” Kawi’s disclaimer intrigued me even more to hear his answer. “He said to take care of others, and I like that about him. But sometimes, I don’t like him to be too close and get too involved with my businesses. Like today, he brought me to see the seniors who are the musicians. Although I appreciated his good intention, I’m a pessimist. I’m worried if things would turn out well, and what others might perceive. I may question a lot because it stretches my existing safe zone. Nevertheless, I appreciate that he’s pushed me to try things I’ve never done before.
Friends Define Love
“To answer this question, many people may see me as a self-centered person.” This is Kawi’s introduction to his definition of love. “Formerly, I may see love as something to serve my own satisfaction. This person agreed to befriend me, I’d love this person only. But I realized that it was pretty exhausting. Love should be comfortable and doesn’t exhaust you from waiting to be loved. I guess I’m quite obstinate.”
Pisaeng nodded lightly as confirmation of Kawi’s answer. He, then, added his perspective of love. “If I found the right one, I wouldn’t let them go. I will give it all for what I think is right. Whatever will happen, for any problems or quarrels, I’ll try my best to solve them. Because I can do anything for my loved one. But I don’t know if they will see my effort.” Pisaeng smiled and looked at his best friend. So I interrupted by asking if it could be concluded that Pisaeng is honest and definite about his love. He replied calmly that “You can put it that way.”
Friends View the Acting Performance of “Fluke-Krist”
I informed both of them before the end of the interview that their story had been adapted into a series called ‘Be My Favorite’. Both of them had known the existence of the series; nevertheless, I’d like to know the feelings of ‘Kawi’ and ‘Pisaeng’ towards ‘Fluke’ and ‘Krist’, the actors who portrayed their stories.
“I’m contented with everything that has happened. Fluke portrayed me with his best capabilities. I know that deep down, Fluke is a fighter like me. I don’t want him to give in on what he loves”
Pisaeng replied eloquently to Fluke, but Kawi kept pondering for a while when he needed to talk about the actor, Krist, who portrayed himself. “I think he made me look too mature and be able to solve a problem too easily. Honestly speaking, I’m not good at solving anything. When I encounter something, I would make a fuss about it. I think Krist noticed that too, whether when he was acting or reviewing his performance afterward. He probably didn’t understand me in several aspects. But I know he had given his all, so I’d like to give him some encouragement. I know how complicated and difficult it could be to portray me.”
That was all I’d bother them for the interview. I thanked them and left. Kawi had to practice his music with the seniors while the other followed to take care of him as his ‘best friend’. How their life would turn out, nobody knows. Except you, the audience who could follow ‘Be My Favorite’ the Series on Fridays at 8:30 p.m. on the GMM25 Channel; and at 10:30 p.m., on Viu Application.
4 TMIs (Too Much Infomation) with Gawin
Fluke may seem to be reserved. Nonetheless, if you get to chat with him about movies, Fluke may talk to you non-stop.
When Fluke takes photos, he will spend some time contemplating it before he posts a photo. Simply put, he isn’t a spontaneous poster.
In reality, Fluke has never once succeeded with the claw machine. He limits his attempt to 4-5 rounds. If he doesn’t succeed by then, he will just quit.
Fluke’s position in the basketball team is a center or power forward as he likes to shoot and because he is tall so he has an advantage playing in this position.
4 TMIs (Too Much Infomation) with Krist
Krist’s answer to the question “turning back time or travelling to the future” had changed since he took the role in Be My Favorite. Previously, he usually selected “turning back time” because there was something he wanted to change. But nowadays, Krist chose to “travel to the future” because he wanted to know what would happen so he’ll do his best every day.
He admitted that he is terrible at taking care of himself and planning his own life. It often worried his parents. He was also bad at remembering things that he got nicknamed “Krist a thing, a day” as he kept forgetting things at least a piece per day.
Krist felt that his luck is meant to be given to others. He had given his luck to his fans more than ten times since “Sotus” till “Be My Favorite”. But he had never gotten any luck for himself.
Krist loved watching a magic show. But he didn’t think he could perform it well because he wouldn’t be able to trick others with the high-speed movement. He was pretty sure he would mess it up due to his nervousness.
