บทสัมภาษณ์กึ่งเรื่องสั้นจาก “เต้าหู้” ตัวนั้น ถึง “เต้าหู้” ตัวจริงคนนี้

สวัสดีฮะ ผม “เต้าหู้” ไม่นึกไม่ฝันเหมือนกันว่า จะได้มีชีวิตขึ้นอีกครั้ง หลังจากที่เป็นตุ๊กตาหมี และได้โลดแล่นอยู่ในละคร “คุณหมีปาฏิหาริย์” ทั้ง 16 ตอน นานเหมือนกันนะฮะ แต่ที่นานกว่าคือ ผมได้คลุกคลีอยู่กับคนที่แสดงเป็นผมอย่าง “คุณสาริน รณเกียรติ” หรือ “พี่อิน” ที่ใครๆ รู้จักกัน
เท่าที่ผมสัมผัสพี่อินมาฮะ หลายคนอาจมองพี่เขาว่าลูกคุณหนู แต่จริงๆ แล้ว เขาเป็นคนถึงไหนถึงกันมากนะฮะ ทั้งการทำงาน ธุรกิจ หรือนิสัยใจคอ วันนี้ผมเจอพี่อินอีกครั้งฮะ หลังจากที่ห่างหายไปนาน ผมนั่งรออยู่ที่สตูดิโอแห่งหนึ่ง แล้วพี่อินเข้ามาเห็นผม พี่อินก็เรียกให้ผมเข้าไปนั่งใกล้ๆ และเริ่มพูดคุยถึงเรื่องราวที่ผมสงสัยฮะ เริ่มจาก…

ใน ‘คุณหมีปาฏิหาริย์’ พี่ณัฐชอบกินหมูทอดไหม้ๆ ของผมมาก ผมเลยอยากรู้ฮะว่า พี่อินชอบกินอะไรเป็นพิเศษไหม
“พี่ชอบกินไข่ดาว 2 ใบเลย แต่ไข่ดาวพี่อาจมีข้อแม้นิดหนึ่ง คือไข่แดงต้องสุกกำลังดี และไข่ขาวขอบต้องกรอบ ยิ่งกินกับพริกน้ำปลาด้วยแล้ว พี่ฟินมากเลย”
ช่วงที่รอข้าวกะเพราไข่ดาว 2 ใบที่พี่อินสั่ง ผมเองอยากรู้ฮะว่า พี่อินจะใจหายไหมกับอีก 3ตอนสุดท้ายของละครที่จะไม่ได้เจอผมอีกแล้ว ไม่รู้ว่าพี่อินจะคิดถึงผมบ้างไหม
“คิดถึงสิเต้าหู้ และคงจะคิดถึงมากด้วย ซึ่งตอนนี้ความรู้สึกใจหายมันเริ่มมาแล้ว โดยเฉพาะ 3 ตอนสุดท้าย จะเริ่มเข้าสู่เรื่องราวของเต้าหู้มากขึ้น พี่ว่าคนดูจะต้องเสียน้ำตาให้เต้าหู้เยอะเลย และโมเมนต์ที่พี่คิดว่า จะต้องคิดถึงเต้าหู้แน่ๆ พี่ว่าน่าจะเป็นตอนที่เต้าหู้ไม่อยู่แล้ว และตอนเต้าหู้กลับมาในฝัน พี่ว่า 2 โมเมนต์นี้ จะทำให้คนดูจดจำเรื่องนี้ไปอีกนานเลยล่ะ”’
พูดถึงความจำ ผมเคยถามน้าโหน่งกับลุงชูฮะว่า ความทรงจำที่ดีกับไม่ดี อันไหนลบยากกว่ากัน แต่ตอนนั้นทั้งคู่ไม่ได้ตอบฮะ เหมือนอ้ำๆ อึ้งๆ อยู่ ผมเลยเก็บความสงสัยนี้มาถามพี่อินว่า แล้วถ้าเป็นพี่อิน คิดว่าอันไหนลบยากกว่ากันฮะ
“ขึ้นอยู่กับมุมมองแต่ละคนจริงๆ นะเต้าหู้ ถ้าคนที่มองโลกในแง่ดี มันก็จะผ่านปัญหาไปได้เร็ว ความทรงจำที่ไม่ดี
ก็จะปล่อยไปได้ง่าย อย่างพี่เอง อาจไม่ไช่คนมองโลกในแง่ดีมาก แต่เป็นคนปล่อยปัญหาได้ง่ายมาก อะไรที่ไม่ดีหรือเป็นปัญหาก็จะบ๊ายบายทันทีเลย ไม่ดีก็คือไม่จำ ดังนั้น พี่เลยเลือกที่จะเดินหน้าต่อ ทำสิ่งใหม่ให้ดีขึ้นและทำอนาคตให้ดีกว่าเดิม

สิ่งใหม่ที่พี่อินเริ่มอยู่ตอนนี้คือ การทำธุรกิจร้านขนม คอมมูนิตี้มอลล์ และอื่นๆ จนมีครั้งหนึ่งฮะ พี่อินเคยให้สัมภาษณ์ว่า สนุกกับธุรกิจและงานละคร แต่กับงานละครแอบสนุกน้อยลงนิดนึง ผมยังอยากเห็นพี่อินเล่นละครอยู่นะฮะ
“พี่ยังไม่ไปไหนนะเต้าหู้ พี่ยังชอบอยู่ แต่ต่อไปพี่อาจอยากเล่นบทที่ใกล้ตัวมากขึ้น เพราะทุกเรื่องพี่ได้บทมาคือไกลตัวหมดเลย พี่เลยอยากลองเล่นบทใกล้ตัวบ้าง ส่วนธุรกิจพี่มองว่า มันคือโอกาสมากกว่า เพราะตัวพี่เองก็ชอบทำงานตั้งแต่เด็กอยู่แล้ว โตขึ้นมาอยู่กับเพื่อนที่ทำงานด้วยกัน เป็นพาร์ทเนอร์กับหลายคนๆ พี่ว่า 3-4 ปีมานี้ ตัวตนด้านธุรกิจของพี่ชัดขึ้น เป็นตัวเองมากขึ้น และกลายเป็นนักธุรกิจเต็มตัว
“จากตอนแรก ก่อนโควิด-19 พี่ว่าตัวเองก็เป็นนักแสดง และทำธุรกิจเสริมเหมือนพาร์ทไทม์ แต่ตอนนี้ พี่ทำธุรกิจเต็มตัวและหลายธุรกิจด้วย ซึ่งพี่เองก็รู้สึกภูมิใจนะเต้าหู้ ที่ความสามารถพี่ชนะหน้าตาที่ใครหลายคนมองมาได้”
พี่อินเล่าให้ฟังต่อด้วยนะฮะว่า ทุ่มเวลาทั้งหมดที่มีให้กับงาน และใส่ใจความเป็นอยู่ของลูกทีมทุกคน เพราะลูกทีมต้องเป็นคนดูแลงานด้านต่างๆ ให้พี่อิน บางอย่างพี่อินอาจเป็นคนคิดตั้งต้น แต่สุดท้ายแล้ว ก็ต้องส่งมอบงานต่อให้ลูกทีมอีกที ดังนั้น ความไว้ใจและเรื่องการบริหารคนเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ ผมเป็นห่วงพี่อินฮะ เลยบอกว่า ดูแลสุขภาพหน่อยก็ดีนะฮะ เพราะอ่านเจอมาว่า อยู่ดีๆ พี่อินก็ล้มลงไปเลย และเหมือนต้องไปหาจิตแพทย์ด้วย
“เพิ่งเป็นเองเต้าหู้ ขอบคุณมากที่เป็นห่วง จริงๆ นัดหมอไว้เรียบร้อยแล้ว แต่พี่ไม่ยอมไปเอง เพราะรู้สึกว่า ไม่เป็นไรหรอก เลยยังไม่ได้ไป แต่อีกเดี๋ยวพี่ว่าก็ดีขึ้นแล้ว ผ่านปีนี้ไปได้ ปีหน้าก็จะพยายามทำอะไรน้อยลง เพราะแก่แล้ว (หัวเราะ)”
คำพูดเจือเสียงหัวเราะ ทำให้ผมเน้นย้ำเรื่องดูแลตัวเองอีกครั้งฮะ ซึ่งพี่อินก็เข้าใจความเป็นห่วงนั้น และบอกผมมาว่า สบายใจได้ ซึ่งถ้าพี่อินสบายใจ ผมก็โอเคฮะ แต่ผมไม่รู้ว่า สิ่งที่พี่อินทำ มัน “ประสบความสำเร็จเร็วไป” หรือ “ทะเยอทะยาน” ได้หรือเปล่า และเหมือนพี่อินจะแอบได้ยินผมพึมพำเบาๆ ฮะ พี่อินเลยบอกออกมาว่า
“พี่ว่าพี่ขยันมากกว่านะเต้าหู้ สำหรับพี่ไม่มีคำว่าเร็ว และถ้าให้มองตัวเอง พี่ว่ายังไม่ได้ประสบความสำเร็จเลย มันเพิ่งเริ่มที่จะมีและกำลังจะมี พี่เลยคิดว่า เร็วไปที่จะตัดสินเรื่องประสบความสำเร็จ จนกว่าจะเห็นผลลัพธ์ออกมา สำหรับทะเยอทะยาน พี่ก็ไม่มองแบบนั้น พี่มองว่า พี่ขยันและเต็มที่กับทุกงานมากกว่า”

เต็มที่จนเคยคุยกับผมฮะว่า เข้าอายุ 30 ปี จะเกษียณตัวเองแล้ว พี่อินหัวเราะออกมาดังมากและเล่าติดตลกว่า
“เมื่อวานพี่ก็พูด และทุกคนก็บอกว่า พี่ทำไม่ได้หรอก เอาจริงๆ พี่ไม่เคยมีภาพในหัวเรื่องนี้เลยนะ เหมือนพี่พูดเล่นๆ ให้กำลังใจตัวเอง ซึ่งใจลึกๆ ก็อยากทำนะเต้าหู้ แต่คิดว่าตัวพี่เองก็คงทำไม่ได้ เพราะคำว่าเพิ่งเริ่มอย่างที่บอกไป มันคือเพิ่งเริ่มจริงๆ อย่างพี่เคยบอกกับเพื่อนว่า อายุ 30 จะต้องมีบริษัทที่เป็นอาณาจักรของตัวเอง แต่ท้ายที่สุดแล้ว เราต้องอยู่กับความจริง ตอนนี้มันยังแค่ 50 เปอร์เซ็นต์แรก ส่วน 50 เปอร์เซ็นต์หลัง ต้องมาดูผลงานกันว่า จะออกมาเป็นอย่างไร”
ผมเชื่อแน่ๆ ว่า ธุรกิจของพี่อินจะไปได้สวย จากความตั้งใจของพี่เขา แต่กับละคร ‘คุณหมีปาฏิหาริย์’ ผมไม่แน่ใจว่า พี่อินชอบ ไม่ชอบ ตอนจบของละครเรื่องนี้มากน้อยแค่ไหน พอบอกหน่อยได้ไหมฮะ
“พี่ชอบนะเต้าหู้ รู้สึกว่าจบได้ดี จบได้ลงตัว ไม่ได้เหมือนในนิยาย แต่ก็แอบติดใจอยู่นิดนึงเหมือนกันว่า แอบเสียดายเต้าหู้ แต่จะเสียดายยังไง เต้าหู้ก็น่าจะรู้อยู่แล้วว่า ต้องมีคนเสียน้ำตาให้เรามากแน่ๆ”
รู้ฮะ และผมคงจะคิดถึงพี่อินมากๆ ด้วยเช่นกัน และก่อนที่จะปล่อยพี่อินไปทำงาน ผมอยากมีเพื่อนเพิ่มฮะพี่อิน แนะนำสิ่งของในห้องนอนพี่อินให้ผมรู้จักหน่อยได้ไหมฮะ
“พี่มีของสำคัญในห้องนอนหลายอย่างเลย แต่ที่น่าจะเหมาะกับเต้าหู้และคุยกับเต้าหู้ถูกคอ ก็น่าจะเป็น “พี่หมอน” เพราะทุกครั้งที่พี่เอาหัวลงหมอน เขาเหมือนกล่อมพี่อยู่ตลอดเลยว่า ได้พักแล้ว วันนี้ทำดีแล้ว เหมือนเป็นคนให้กำลังใจพี่อยู่เสมอ เวลาพี่กลับไป ซึ่งเป็นพี่หมอนที่อบอุ่นมาก พี่ว่าเต้าหู้น่าจะชอบพี่หมอนนะ”
“เต้าหู้” เสียงที่คุ้นเคยทำให้ผมอดยิ้มไม่ได้
“ฮะ พี่ณัฐ พี่ณัฐมาคุยบทกับพี่อินเหรอฮะ” ผมรู้ถึงการมาของพี่ณัฐอยู่แล้ว แต่ใจผมก็ยังจะถามออกไป
“เปล่า มารับมึงนี่แหละ กูหิวข้าวจะแย่แล้ว” พี่ณัฐเร่งเร้าผมพร้อมเร่งฝีเท้าเดินนำออกไปก่อน
“งั้นพี่ไปก่อนนะ กินข้าวให้อร่อยล่ะ” พี่อินขอตัวไปถ่ายแฟชั่นในสตูดิโอต่อ
พี่อินเดินลับเข้าสตูดิโอไป ความทรงจำของผมที่มีต่อพี่อินยังทำงานอยู่นะฮะ ในฐานะนักธุรกิจเต็มตัวและนักแสดงที่เต็มที่กับทุกบทบาท ยังไงผมจะอยู่ตรงนี้และเป็นกำลังใจให้พี่อินเสมอเลยฮะ

Hello, I’m “Tofu”. I never dreamed that I would be alive again. After I’ve been a teddy bear and taken a leading role in “The Miracle of Teddy Bear” for 16 episodes. It was quite a long time and I had even spent a longer time with a person who portrayed me in the series, “Mr. Sarin Ronnakiat” or everyone knows as “Inn”.
As I’ve known him so far, most people saw him as a young master from a high-class family. In fact, he was earnest about everything, whether it was works, businesses, or personalities. Today, I met him again after a while. I waited for him at a studio and he called me to sit together once he’d arrived. Then, we started chatting about matters I’ve been curious about. Let’s get started with…

In ‘The Miracle of Teddy Bear’, Nat loved to eat the burnt fried pork I made and it intrigued me to hear about your favorite food. What do you like to eat in particular?
“I like to eat fried eggs. I can have two, actually. But my fried eggs must be a little special – the egg york must be decently cooked and egg white must be crispy. It is even better with the chilly fish sauce. I’d be walking on air.”
While we were waiting for his rice topped with stir-fried pork and basil with 2 fried eggs, I’d like to know if Inn felt blue that it would be only 3 episodes left before the series ended. Since you’ll never see me again, are you going to miss me?
“Yes, I’ll miss you and I will definitely miss you a lot. At the moment, I started to feel blue, especially for the last 3 episodes that would involve more of Tofu’s story. I think a lot of the audience would cry for you. The moments that I’ll certainly miss you are gonna be when you’re gone and when you show up in my dream. I think these 2 moments will remain in the audience’s memories for a long time.”
Talking about memories, I once asked Uncle Nong and Uncle Chu whether good or bad memories were harder to erase. Back then, they struggled to give me the answer. Hence, I had been carrying this question with me and I would like to ask you. In your case, which memory is harder to erase?
“It depends on perspectives, Tofu. If the person is optimistic, they shall pass any issues quickly. Any bad memories can be easily let go of. In my case, I may not be extremely optimistic, but I can easily let go of problems. When negative things or issues happened, I’ll let them go immediately. If it’s bad, I won’t remember. Therefore, I choose to move forward, improve with new stuff, and become better in the future.”

The new things that you were working on were businesses about bakery shops, community malls, and many other things. One time, you said in an interview that you were enjoying both of them – doing business and acting. But you felt that your enjoyment of acting was slightly reduced. But I still wanted to see your acting…
“I’m not going anywhere, Tofu. I still like acting. But in the upcoming projects, I may want to play a role that is more similar to my own character, because I’ve been getting roles totally different from my own self. I’d like to play a role more similar to my own character. Regarding the businesses, I deem it an opportunity because I liked to work since I was young. I grew up together with my friends who have been working with me and have been business partners with many of them. Over the past 3-4 years, my business identity becomes clearer. I know myself better and fully become a businessman.”
“Initially, before the pandemic, I saw myself as an actor and took businesses as my part-time job. But currently, doing business has become my full-time job and I have many of them. I am proud of it, Tofu, that my competence beat my looks which people usually prejudged.”
Inn also told me that he put all of his efforts into work and he cared about the well-being of his staff because they would be the ones who took care of all the work for him. Although some work might be initiated by Inn, eventually he’d need to transfer them to the team. Hence, trust and people management were essential. Ultimately, I was worried about him so I asked him to take better care of himself because I’d read it somewhere that he had collapsed and also gone to see a psychiatrist.
“It was just happened recently, Tofu. Thank you for your concern. I actually made an appointment with the psychiatrist, but I deliberately called it off. I reckon that I’m doing alright, so I don’t feel like going. I think I will get well soon. Next year, I’ll try to work less because I feel old. (laughs)”
His words were filled with laughter, so I emphasized the importance of self-care. Inn understood my concerns and asked me to rest assured. If he was certain, then it would be alright. But I wasn’t sure if what he was doing could be called “early success” or “being ambitious”. Inn seemed to overheard my murmur so he said,
“I see myself as a diligent person, Tofu. In my case, nothing is too early and I don’t think I’ve yet been successful. It’s only getting started and established. I think it’s too early to presume its success till it yields results. As for ambition, I don’t see it that way. I’m only diligent and attentive in doing my job.”

You were attentive that you used to say that when you reached 30, you’d retire. Inn laughed out loud and told me joyfully that,
“I just said it yesterday and everybody replied that I wouldn’t be able to do it. Honestly speaking, I’ve never imagined it before. It was like I was joking around to encourage myself. Deep down, I’d love to make it come true but I don’t think I can do it. As I told you earlier, it was just a start. I literally mean it. Like I used to say to my friend that when I turned 30, I must have a company that is like my own kingdom. After all, we need to admit that the current state of my business is only the first half of the overall results. For the second half, we only have to wait and see how it will turn out.”
I believe that Inn’s business would turn out well based on his serious effort. But I’m not sure about ‘The Miracle of Teddy Bear’ if he likes or dislikes the end of it. Could you please tell me about it?
“I like it, Tofu. I think it’s a good and decent ending, although it is different from the fiction version. But it left me with some impressions that I felt pity for Tofu. But why I feel that way, you must have known it already. There must be a lot of people crying for us.”
Yes, I knew and I would be missing Inn so much. Before I let him go to work, I’d like to have more friends. Could you introduce any item in your bedroom to me?
“I have many important things in my bedroom, but what should suit you well and connect easily with you would be ‘Mr. Pillow’. Every time I put my head on him, it is like he always lulls me that, “You could rest.” and “You did well today.” He was like someone who always encourages me when I get home. He is so warm. I think you are going to like him.”
“Tofu” a familiar voice made me smile.
“Yes, Nat. Are you here to discuss your script with Inn?” I know why he was here but my heart told me to ask him the question.
“Nope. I’m here to pick you up. Come, I’m starving.” Nat urged me to move before taking some steps to lead me the way.
“Excuse me, then. Enjoy your meal.” Inn excused himself to have a photoshoot in the studio.
Inn had already gone into the studio, but my memory of Inn remains, as a businessman and an actor who is always serious about his roles. After all, I’d always be here, rooting for you.
